Duck, Duck, Squirrel

Sophie loves feeding the ducks and Camden is obsessed with all animals right now, so an afternoon at the park was the perfect way to pass some time the other day. All we needed was a few loaves of bread and everyone was entertained.

We also made a squirrel friend...

 and trained a few seagulls to catch bread in the air.

Tiny Teeth

Not to be outdone by his sister, who may have crawled just a teensy bit earlier, Camden is sprouting four teeth at once. All top four teeth are starting to poke through! At first, I was afraid he was going to be lopsided because the two on his right side came in first, but the left side followed just a day or so later.

Here is when Sophie's top teeth started coming through.

Frozen

Sophie is a big fan of Frozen. Actually, we all are. It's the cutest Disney movie I've seen in a long time. Santa brought Sophie both Anna and Elsa dresses and she loves to dress up as Elsa to build her ice castle.

Our big boy is so close to crawling! I know it's going to happen any day now.

New Year, New Blog

Happy New Year!

I'm starting the year off by making a promise to myself. Instead of a resolution, I'm promising to blog more. Since welcoming Camden into our family almost nine months ago, life has been a little crazy. Adjusting to two kids and then moving (basically twice!) and remodeling our kitchen has taken all of my energy. Things finally seemed to fall into place and then the holidays rolled in and we all know how that time of the year goes.

I took a little break from the blogosphere thinking that it would help me "be more present" but I'm ready to jump back in. Instead of only iPhone photos and instagram, I'm promising myself that I will use my big camera to take quality pictures of my kids and use this blog to document their little lives. My days are filled with the joy that these two crazy kids bring me and this is my space to share it.

Eight Months

Plus about two weeks. 

He wants to crawl. Loves to eat. Claps and talks and melts our hearts. Camden is growing like a weed. 

I swear his hair isn't red, just some weird lighting going.
