Hand Me Downs

There's no way I'd make Camden wear Sophie's old clothes but he is definitely enjoying all of her "gear" secondhand. Strollers, car seat, bath tub, pack'n play, swing, bouncy seat....the list goes on and on. Babies certainly don't need all this stuff but it does make life easier. Not having to buy it all again this time makes it extra nice.

For the most part, all of Sophie's stuff has been pretty gender neutral. Then there's the pink Bumbo seat. That silly little rubber seat that props a baby up before they can sit up on their own. It seems like a silly invention, and it is probably more for our entertainment than his, but I refuse to buy a second one, just because Sophie's is pink. So Camden will be rocking this pink Bumbo and I think he is already so manly, he can pull it off.

Tummy Time

Just practicing a few baby push ups, no big deal.

When he starts to look like that last photo, its time to flip him over and he's back to all smiles.

Frog Boy

After the bath, a little pampering follows, naturally. I love Camden's silly hooded towels. He has both a frog and a lion. We slather him up with lotion because his skin tends to get a little scaly and Chase tells me I'm greasing him up like a pig. It works though! As long as I put that thick lotion on him, day and night, his arms and legs stay as soft as his bottom.

Bath Time

The bath is a happy place around here. Sophie could swim around for hours in the tub and Camden is no different. He currently takes his bath in a whale tub on the kitchen counter and splashes everywhere. He's a squirmy, kicky guy in there and seems to really love it.

A Trip to the City

While Chase was away in San Diego playing in his annual beach bocce ball tournament, Madi and I scooped up the kids and zipped up to San Francisco. Camden has been such a mellow guy, that spontaneous trips like this have been really fun. We escaped the heat for 48 hours and enjoyed a trip to the California Academy of Sciences. Sophie loved the rainforest exhibit and the aquarium, but wasn't too impressed by the albino alligator.

Camden is Three Months Old!

He's cooing, he's smiling and he's laughing...just never for a picture! Camden is officially three months old. He loves kicking those little legs and is a bundle of joy!
