Meet Our Elf, Wy Wy!

This year we are starting the Elf on the Shelf tradition in our household. Sophie opened her elf on Sunday and we read a book all about him. She has decided to name him Wy Wy (presumably after her good friend Wyatt.) Each night, Wy Wy will head back to the North Pole to report to Santa Claus and then come back in the morning to keep an eye on Sophie. She might be a little young still for this concept, but I think she will at least enjoy looking for him each morning. I'm already compiling a little list in my head of all the silly hiding positions and elfkin trouble that Wy Wy can get himself into! This morning, Wy Wy decided to scale the Christmas tree.
