Taking Care of Business

When Sophie sleeps in, her elf Wy Wy has to pick up some of the slack. Here he is feeding her baby this morning.

Wy Wy's Adventures Continue

The Elf on the Shelf has been a big hit around here. I'm not too worried about the rules this year, I let Sophie touch and move Wy Wy if she wants to. I'm not even sure she understands the concept of the elf watching over her and reporting to Santa every night. She does love the morning ritual of looking for him and seems entertained by his new spots each day so I'll consider it a success!

Brunching It Up

On Sunday, we attended Fort Washington's annual kid's Christmas party and brunch. Chase was out of town so we dragged Mimi along with us. Sophie still isn't into meeting Santa, or the face painting clown but she was happy to accept a snowman balloon, craft some ornaments and eat, eat, eat!

Christmas Tree Lane

Last weekend, we walked down Christmas Tree Lane on opening night. It is one of our favorite holiday traditions. The weather was icky and almost rained us out, but fortunately cleared a little by the time we were ready to walk.
