Her Babies and a Book-a-thon

As part of our nightly bedtime routine, we have always read to Sophie. She loves all kinds of books and brings them to me to read to her all day long. In the evening, our whole family has to head down to Sophie's room for book time, including Lulu. Since Sophie has started collecting and obsessing over baby dolls, they now have to come too. The other night she lined all the babies up in Chase's arms, then plopped herself down, ready for her bedtime stories. After the stories, the babies were tucked in, and so was Sophie.

1. Reduce, reuse and recycle

Cardboard boxes make excellent hiding

spots and baby doll beds.

2. Get Fit

A new track suit will help with that one.

3. Volunteer

Always willing to help out around the house.

4. Stay in touch with family and friends

Several new phones will help with this one

5. Take up a new hobby

Moving tiny things from one place to another,

then back again, is the newest hobby of choice

6. Continue pursuing old hobbies

Baby hoarding is still at the top of the list

of her favorite activities

7. Share with others

I think just about everyone gets a bite

of anything she's eating

8. Get more sleep.

Starting Off the New Year Right

Sophie and I kicked off the New Year with two long walks this weekend. With the weather surprisingly warm the last few days it's been so nice to be outside enjoying it.

Christmas Recap

Our Christmas this year was filled with so much joy and I took tons of pictures to try and capture every moment of it. This is just a small taste of our Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We spent time with family, ate way too much food, received way too many presents and just tried to soak it all in.

Our little family is sending our love out to all of you! Although this isn't our first holiday season as a family of three, it's been such a special one since Sophie is aware of all the festivity around her this year.
