Ten Months

Sophie is 10 months old today! Such a big girl.

Atlantic Coast

On our trip to New Jersey, Sophie seemed a little unsure of the water and waves. She loved smooshing the sand in her toes and between her fingers though and we'd set her up in her own little pool in the shade. Her favorite part of the beach this time seemed to be the seagulls. She had a blast watching and then chasing them!

Little Thief

One day while in New Jersey, I ordered a diet coke float on the boardwalk. Although Chase and I have let Sophie have some tiny tastes of our ice cream or frozen yogurt recently, a diet coke float just didn't seem like a good choice for her. I had other snacks for her but they just weren't cutting it. When I looked away for a second she knocked over my float and started shoveling the ice cream into her mouth by the fistful!

We're Baaaaack....

That sounds creepy but it wasn't meant to be. My mind is a little fuzzy this morning because Sophie and I can't figure out what time zone we're on. We landed in Fresno at 10pm last night after a very long day of travel including a drive to Philadelphia and then three flights. Sophie was, once again, an excellent little traveler! We had a blast on the Jersey Shore! She also had her first brush with celebrity because Ice Cube was in the first class section of our Cleveland to Los Angeles flight.
