Two Weeks!

Sophie and I celebrated her two week birthday with a walk in her Bob stroller and a trip through the Starbucks drive thru!

Each day Sophie is spending a little more time with her eyes open.  She always seems a little surprised to find us staring back at her. 

Dress Up

At one of my baby showers, friends and families decorated little onsies for Sophie. We decided to try them on her, but she only lasted through a few of them. We were both pretty tuckered out by the end of our dress up time.

Happy Birthday!

Sophie is officially one week old today. We can't believe how different she is already looking since we brought her home!

Sophie also met her great grandparents, Ammy and Baba for the first time today.

First Weekend at Home

Sophie's first weekend at home included hanging out with family, meeting her dog sisters, testing out her bouncy seat, taking her first bath and styling her first mohawk.

Coming Home

After a 24 hour stay, we brought Sophie home from the hospital on Friday evening.

On Thursday, October 14, we welcomed our sweet little Sophie to our lives. She surprised us by showing up 12 days ahead of schedule but after 38 weeks of pregnancy and 14 hours of labor, she was more than worth the wait.

Sophie Taylor Kemps was born at 4:22pm, weighed 6 lbs and 15 ounces and measured 21" long. We are deeply in love and she has already changed our lives forever.
