This happened. Cheese.
Then this happened. Pinch!
Then this happened, and she was all better.

First day of school
Oh, hi. We're still here. Blogging took a back seat while we stayed super busy this summer. School's back in session and things seem to be slowing down a little so I guess it's time to start posting again. Sophie started her second year at Fairmont preschool today. Where does the time go? She is in a Pre-K class with many of her same friends from last year's class.

Spring Break: Day Four (The Birthday!!!!)
One our fourth day of spring break, Cam the Man turned one! We celebrated at breakfast, lunch and dinner and squeezed in as much fun as we could. Balloons, presents, laughter, cupcakes and lots of love. He is so lucky to be surrounded by so much loving family.

Happy Birthday Camden!
One year ago today, we welcomed this sweet little nugget into our lives and he completed our family. Camden manages to be wild and crazy, but a sweet, sensitive and snuggly boy all at the same time. He is so different than Sophie in so many ways, but in other ways they are little clones of one another. I watch the sweet relationship between Sophie and Camden grow every day and pinch myself to think I could be so lucky to call them my kids. Happy Birthday Camden! We love you so much!

Spring Break: Day Three
Today we spent lots of time playing at home and enjoyed a morning visit from Auntie Sara, Ridgie, Gannon and Obby. They brought donuts and Camden's first birthday present. Sophie helped him break it in, of course. Sophie went to the movies with Pop and then Obby came back to have dinner with us. Another fun spring break day!
Their current favorite spot.

Donuts on the patio
Off to the movies!

Spring Break: Day Two
Today we hit the road. We took a day trip with Mimi over to Monterey to check out the aquarium. We had so much fun there and Camden loved his first visit. This is only the second time for Sophie, but she remembered all her favorite exhibits and we had to recreate a few moments. We definitely need to spend more time there. We could have spent hours just sitting in front of the deep sea tank, it's a favorite for all of us. The kids were troopers to get over there and back in a day, and the aquarium was crowded today, but we love an adventure!

Spring Break: Day One
We're up to some spring break shenanigans this week. Pancakes for breakfast, easter egg dying, swimming and lunch at Fig Garden, a treat run and then watching Chase play softball. It was a busy day and it's only Monday. Check out how we've celebrated Spring Break in the past here.
Pancakes with sprinkles, naturally.
Dying eggs while Camden naps, it's a little too messy for him.
A cupcake to celebrate someone's half birthday today.
Camden gets in on the treat run with an oatmeal raisin cookie.
Go Chase, go!
