Spring Break: Day One

We're up to some spring break shenanigans this week. Pancakes for breakfast, easter egg dying, swimming and lunch at Fig Garden, a treat run and then watching Chase play softball. It was a busy day and it's only Monday.  Check out how we've celebrated Spring Break in the past here.

Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk

While in Aptos, we hopped over to Santa Cruz for a couple of hours to take Sophie to the Beach Boardwalk. She loved the rides and seemed excited to be a big girl who was now brave enough to ride them without a grown up!

Aptos

Last week, we were lucky enough to spend a weekend in Aptos. We crashed the Kennedy's annual vacation and had so much fun. The weather was overcast but I loved being able to escape the heat and put on a sweatshirt for the first time in a long time!

Back in Business

After a week out of town and a broken phone, I've felt very out of touch with the social media world. I'm back in business with a brand new phone and about a bazillion pictures downloading from our adventures right now. More to come!!

Meet Camden Jon!

Our sweet son, Camden Jon Kemps is finally here! He arrived at 7:33pm on Wednesday, April 17. It was long, long day but his arrival was well worth the wait. He weighed in at 7 lbs, 12 ounces, almost a pound bigger than his older sister Sophie. He is 20.5 inches long and perfect all around! So far Camden is a sweet, calm baby....hurray! Sophie is so happy to be a big sister and we are overjoyed to all be home together now.

Spring Break: Day Four

Thursday was another busy day for us. After a quick check up for me and Big Boy at the doctor's office, Sophie and I managed to squeeze in a Costco trip and some park time before lunch with Mimi, Ammy and Baba. After lunch we were both ready for a nap and then we were off again to visit Chase and Sara at work and pick up some Easter treats from "Big Kathy." We ended our fourth day of spring break with dinner at Gigi and George's house.
