Do You Want to Build a Snowman?

We spent a long weekend in Truckee, hoping to enjoy a little winter wonderland. Sophie had a checklist of activities that she was hoping to accomplish that included building a snowman, ice skating and skiing. On our first afternoon there, Chase and Sophie got right to work building her first snowman. Sadly, a few hours after this it started raining and rained all weekend so we couldn't finish the rest of her last but we promised we'd go back!

Soakin' in the Sun

We enjoyed a few beautiful days in Lake Tahoe this past weekend. Although they haven't had much snow up there this winter, the weather was just right to make for a great day of snowboarding for Chase and a warm, sunny day of lounging by the ice skating rink in North Star Village for Sophie and me.
